Lanette is a mother, business owner, and an innovative award-winning IT Executive solving problems with secure, stable, business-valued technology.  Leading in AI adoption, integration, and Agentic workflows, Lanette has years of experience building and directing IT divisions, departments, teams, systems, integrations, and complex projects, with amazing companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, REI and Collin County Government.  She has served as a member of the Cisco Customer Collaboration Board of Advisors, chaired Texas Association of IT Management conference, and co-chaired the Court Technology Committee working with the Texas Conference of Urban Counties. Most recently she’s worked to modernize insurance systems for AI readiness with data quality, governance, compliance, and AI fluency resulting in $1.4M cost savings, 400% efficiency increase, 98.9% accuracy and 80% AI adoption rate company wide. A few noteworthy accomplishments are:

• Stood up IT for 5 insurance focused start-ups (Careways, Century Healthcare, CerpassRX, Healthcare Highways, SunFire).

• Led enterprise Blue Cross Blue Shield merger and acquisition efforts for seamless system integrations, under budget, impacting 20K+ FTEs.

• Received several NACo Innovation Awards (National Association of Counties) advancing business capabilities saving $25.5M.

• Increased Government IT efficiency by 500% by implementing ITIL, Agile SCRUM, Risk Management Governance within IT.

• Reduced risk by 80% through policy creation, cybersecurity, containment architecture, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring.

• Increased BCBS revenue by 27% consolidating multi-channel, integration, and alignment, strengthening customer experience.

• Made IT a service center and not a cost center by building quality teams and programs resulting in revenue creation and generation.
