Ian has a 20 year career in security and technology spanning software engineering, database administration, application security, database security, SIEM and SOAR. He has a passion for leveraging automation to help organizations improve their security posture, and to help fill gaps presented by the continual need for more analysts. His personal life mimics his professional life - just as he likes to leverage technology to push the envelope on what his possible, he also enjoys testing himself in log distance running, swimming and biking events to see what he’s capable of.
